Key-holding and security checks:
  • This entails holding property keys in a secure place.
  • The property will be inspected, externally and internally, on a weekly visit to ensure it is secure and aired. We will liaise with you via e-mail or telephone if any repairs and/or renovations are required.
  • We will let tradesmen into the property with your permission, or your specific request, and supervise them and their work where necessary.

Change-overs:

  • This entails cleaning and tidying the property for the next arrivals, including laying out fresh bed linen and towels.
  • All interior floors will be swept, vacuumed and mopped. The terrace and footpaths will be swept. All windows and patio doors (including rejas) will be cleaned internally and externally.
  • All work, table, and other surfaces will be cleaned, and dusted and polished as required.
  • Bathrooms and toilets will contain adequate soap and toilet rolls. The kitchen area will contain adequate soap, washing up liquid and cleaning/wiping cloths/towels.
  • All soiled linen will be professionally washed and ironed.
  • Terrace/pool furniture will be wiped clean; covers washed when necessary.

Swimming pool maintenance:

  • The pool will be inspected, tested and maintained regularly all year round.
  • During the warmer months (March - October) the pool will be visited once a week to net, brush and vacuum. The pH levels will be checked-and 3-in-1 tablets added. A second visit will be made in the same week to inspect and carry out further maintenance if required, e.g. net and brush.
  • A weekly visit will be made during the colder months when the pool is covered to ensure the pH levels are satisfactory, and 3-in-1 tablets added when needed. The pool cover (if applicable) will be cleared of rain water and debris, such as leaves.

Gardening maintenance:

  • All garden areas will be maintained throughout the year, i.e. weeding and pruning. The irrigation system (where applicable) will be inspected on a regular basis and adjusted accordingly dependent on the weather/season conditions.
 2008 Prices for Property Services
  • Key holding and security checks: 20 Euros per month.

  • Change-overs:  55 Euros per change-over.

  • A comprehensive Information Pack for guests (which includes maps) can be provided at an extra charge of 5 Euros.

  • Laundering and ironing:  When requested at a time other than at a change-over, 15 Euros.

  • Spring-cleaning:  Extra work is sometimes required/requested on the property. For example, thorough cleaning of exterior windows and doors, railings and gates, external patios and terraces, barbeques. Sometimes re-painting of surfaces or other DIY work is necessary. A price for any of these works will be agreed upon with the owner and charged for separately.

  • Gardening maintenance: 40 Euros per month.

  • Any landscaping works required will be priced and charged for separately.

  • Pool maintenance: 85 Euros per month (all seasons), to include all chemicals.


All receipts for requested groceries and other items such as toilet rolls, soap, etc. will be kept for reimbursement by the owner or visitors.

Please note that all services - except change-overs - need to be paid quarterly in advance. Change-overs should be paid for on departure of visitors.

Any other required service not listed above, such as house-minding, pet care, dog walking, baby sitting, etc. will be priced on an individual basis.
